The aims of this club will be to
1. Work towards recognition and acceptance of the Hokkaido Ken, onto the Kennel Club import register, with the ongoing goal of full recognition.
2. Uphold the health and welfare of the Hokkaido Ken in the UK through ethical breeding and ownership.
3. Provide a platform for owners and enthusiasts of the Hokkaido Ken breed to share knowledge, experience and information.
4. Promote and exhibit the Hokkaido Ken where possible, at events and online.
5. Provide a point of contact for interested parties, which will seek to match those parties with current and relevant breed-specific information and, where possible, owners and mentors involved with the Hokkaido Ken.
6. To endeavour to assist in the rescue, assessment, foster and rehoming of any Hokkaido Ken found to be in need of assistance in the UK.
